Dear Ann Landers, fter I spent several hundred dollars to come to this world-famous medical center in Minnesota, the doctors had the nerve to tell me I am not sick. The final consultation took one hour. My X rays and previous history going back ten years were hauled out. The doctor ended the consultation by saying, "You are in good physical condition for a woman your age. Go home and find something to keep yourself busy." What he meant was, "You are healthy as a horse but you are nuts." When doctors can't get to the root of the trouble, why do they tell the patient his troubles are imaginary?-III But Undiagnosed

Our Reader to Reader Question of the Week:
Dear Readers, , bright, kind, sensitive, talented, generous and funny. He died in an accident that didn’t have to happen. His car was hit head-on by a drunken driver. I have read everything I could lay my hands on, searching for solace and asking the same question: “Why, why, why?” John was only 21 and had so much to give. Maybe there are no answers, but I would appre-ciate any word of comfort that you might be able to offer. Please try. Thank you. -A Heavy Heart in California
