Dear Ann Landers,
Hank must have had sex with someone else. Of course, I was tested also. The reports were negative, which was no surprise to me, because I've never been with anyone else. Even Hank's sister, who is an R.N., wants to know why he won't fess up. I need to know the truth, no matter how much it will hurt. It's the lie that's killing me. Now I find myself questioning every move he makes. I love Hank very much and don't want to divorce this man. I need your help. -Trouble in Toledo

Dear Toledo,
My medical consultants say it is possible, though not likely, to get herpes through skin-to-skin contact that is nonsexual. Since you want desperately to keep your marriage together, go with the long shot and accept his word as the truth. I hope you have talked with your gynecologist about how to protect yourself from getting infected. If not, do so at once.

Our Reader to Reader Question of the Week:

Dear Readers,
, whatever they needed I provided. What really hurt my son and I the most was the obituary - we were not mentioned at all. Our friends (mine and hers) were appalled. I was embarrassed and upset for not just me, but for my son-who loved her also. I never been so upset. Her x-husband put his wife and kids and their grandchildren in the obituary, who my girlfriend barely knew. They live an hour away from us. I know its silly to be mad over a little section of the newspaper, but it still hurts. Will time let this devastating loss of her and this article ever go away? I am so angry at this whole situation, its not like we can go and rewrite an obituary notice.
