Dear Ann Landers,
he high cost of living has put me behind the eight ball. No matter how I try, it is impossible to maintain a good address and decent clothes and have money left to drive a car and do some interesting things. I am twenty- nine years old, unmarried, very good looking, and an en-gaging conversationalist. I would like to make myself avail-able (to high-type women only) for thirty dollars an evening plus expenses. I want only to serve as an escort, so please don't assume anything beyond that. I have a new Corvette and well-cut clothes. Hundreds of women sit at home simply be-cause they do not know an attractive, respectable man who will take them out. I could give a woman a wonderful evening in exchange for this modest stipend. Will you help me to help them and myself at the same time?-R.D.

Dear R.D.,
If a dame doesn't have thirty dollars, how much would you charge for her to stand at the curb and watch you drive by?

Our Reader to Reader Question of the Week:

Dear Readers,
, whatever they needed I provided. What really hurt my son and I the most was the obituary - we were not mentioned at all. Our friends (mine and hers) were appalled. I was embarrassed and upset for not just me, but for my son-who loved her also. I never been so upset. Her x-husband put his wife and kids and their grandchildren in the obituary, who my girlfriend barely knew. They live an hour away from us. I know its silly to be mad over a little section of the newspaper, but it still hurts. Will time let this devastating loss of her and this article ever go away? I am so angry at this whole situation, its not like we can go and rewrite an obituary notice.
