Dear Ann Landers,
got into a discussion with the girls at work about sleeping habits. I happened to mention that I always wear un-derpants to bed. Everyone was shocked. (I have been married for 18 years.) Am I eccentric, crazy or "hung-up"-as they all seem to think? I never gave this matter any thought until it came up in this morning's conversation. Do you have any statistics on how many married women sleep in underpants? Please respond to

Dear Ohio,
I have never heard of any surveys on the subject, but it is a safe assumption that most women (single and married) do not sleep in underpants. Those who do are not necessarily wacky, however. It is probably a habit acquired in childhood. Dear Readers: Remember the woman who slept in her underpants? Well, now we have a new angle, which I feel obliged to share. Please stay with me and learn something. This letter came from Boston:

Our Reader to Reader Question of the Week:

Dear Readers,
, whatever they needed I provided. What really hurt my son and I the most was the obituary - we were not mentioned at all. Our friends (mine and hers) were appalled. I was embarrassed and upset for not just me, but for my son-who loved her also. I never been so upset. Her x-husband put his wife and kids and their grandchildren in the obituary, who my girlfriend barely knew. They live an hour away from us. I know its silly to be mad over a little section of the newspaper, but it still hurts. Will time let this devastating loss of her and this article ever go away? I am so angry at this whole situation, its not like we can go and rewrite an obituary notice.
