Dear Ann Landers,
ight now I am smoking myself to death waiting for my husband to come home. He went to a football game this afternoon with "the boys." It is midnight and he's not back yet. We've been married two years and have no children. We both work, and our marriage is a happy one except for this one bad habit. If he decides to have a few drinks with the fellows after work, he just goes and doesn't bother to call and say he'll be late. When he finally gets home and I ask him why he didn't phone, he says, "I didn't think of it." I'm not the only woman in the world who has this prob-lem. What do other women do?-Outa My Mind

Dear Outa,
Other women do what you do. They worry themselves sick, walk the floor, and ask themselves a thousand times, "Where can he be?" and "Why doesn't he call?" The answers you know very well. He's in some bar, slopped to the eyeballs. And he doesn't call because he's a selfish, inconsider-ate heel. But he's your heel, and you must Hve with it as best you can and hope that one day he'll develop some considera-tion for you.

Our Reader to Reader Question of the Week:

Dear Readers,
, whatever they needed I provided. What really hurt my son and I the most was the obituary - we were not mentioned at all. Our friends (mine and hers) were appalled. I was embarrassed and upset for not just me, but for my son-who loved her also. I never been so upset. Her x-husband put his wife and kids and their grandchildren in the obituary, who my girlfriend barely knew. They live an hour away from us. I know its silly to be mad over a little section of the newspaper, but it still hurts. Will time let this devastating loss of her and this article ever go away? I am so angry at this whole situation, its not like we can go and rewrite an obituary notice.

Tell us what you think?
