Dear Ann Landers,
have rewritten this letter four times in an effort to make it printable. Please publish it, because I cannot receive a reply in the mail. There are these two women in our office. One is a divorcee, the other has never been married. They do not live together, but they have lunch to-gether every day, take vacations together, and spend their evenings together. There are stories going around that these women have an abnormal relationship. I find it difficult to believe because they are both extremely intelligent and re-fined. Also the divorcee has two children. Could the rumors be true? If they are, should the women be fired?-Upholder Of Decency

Dear Up,
You are asking if it is possible that the women are lesbians. The answer is, Yes-it is possible, but not necessarily true. Should they be fired? No. Not if they are competent-it would be cruel to deprive them of employment.

Our Reader to Reader Question of the Week:

Dear Readers,
, whatever they needed I provided. What really hurt my son and I the most was the obituary - we were not mentioned at all. Our friends (mine and hers) were appalled. I was embarrassed and upset for not just me, but for my son-who loved her also. I never been so upset. Her x-husband put his wife and kids and their grandchildren in the obituary, who my girlfriend barely knew. They live an hour away from us. I know its silly to be mad over a little section of the newspaper, but it still hurts. Will time let this devastating loss of her and this article ever go away? I am so angry at this whole situation, its not like we can go and rewrite an obituary notice.

Tell us what you think?
