Dear Ann Landers,
was deeply disappointed in your answer to "Oys-Gashpilt." The poor gal was sick and tired of carrying the financial load for her husband. You gave her pre-cious little comfort. To begin with, I don't know if you speak German but "Oys-Gashpilt" means "played-out." After twenty- five years of pullin' that barge and totin' that bale, it's easy to see how a wife could be fed up. You told her the guy had tried and financial failure is no reason to leave a husband. You ad-vised her to stick with the lummox because "Cary Grant is not waiting for you." For your information, Cary Grant has passed his sixtieth birthday, so it is possible that he, too, is "Oys-Gash-pilt." You flubbed it, Annie.-One Admirer Less

Dear One,
Age is only a number, and on him it looks good. At this writing Mr. Grant has had four marriages and an equal number of divorces so I am not betting one way or the other.

Our Reader to Reader Question of the Week:

Dear Readers,
, whatever they needed I provided. What really hurt my son and I the most was the obituary - we were not mentioned at all. Our friends (mine and hers) were appalled. I was embarrassed and upset for not just me, but for my son-who loved her also. I never been so upset. Her x-husband put his wife and kids and their grandchildren in the obituary, who my girlfriend barely knew. They live an hour away from us. I know its silly to be mad over a little section of the newspaper, but it still hurts. Will time let this devastating loss of her and this article ever go away? I am so angry at this whole situation, its not like we can go and rewrite an obituary notice.
