Dear Ann Landers, ight now I am smoking myself to death waiting for my husband to come home. He went to a football game this afternoon with the boys. It is midnight and he's not back yet. We've been married two years and have no children. We both work, and our marriage is a happy one except for this one bad habit. If he decides to have a few drinks with the fellows after work, he just goes and doesn't bother to call and say he'll be late. When he finally gets home and I ask him why he didn't phone, he says, I didn't think of it. I'm not the only woman in the world who has this prob-lem. What do other women do?-Outa My Mind
Dear Outa,
Other women do what you do. They worry themselves sick, walk the floor, and ask themselves a thousand times, "Where can he be?" and "Why doesn't he call?" The answers you know very well. He's in some bar, slopped to the eyeballs. And he doesn't call because he's a selfish, inconsider-ate heel. But he's your heel, and you must Hve with it as best you can and hope that one day he'll develop some considera-tion for you.
