Dear Ann Landers, Marvin and I have been going together for over a year. We are both in our thirties and old enough to know what we are doing. Marvin was married briefly five years ago, but it didn't work out. Two weeks ago Marvin began to talk marriage. He made it clear that he was not actually proposing, just considering it because there were a few things he had to find out first. Tonight he asked me five questions which he had written down on a piece of paper. Here are the questions: Do you need any dental work done? Do you need any surgery? (3 ) What kind of insurance do you carry? 108 Are you in line to inherit any money? Is there any insanity in your family? I like Marvin very much and we get along fairly well, but these questions have raised some doubt in my mind. What do you think?-Miss D.
Dear Miss,
I think you don't need a nut like this for a husband. One thing is certain, it isn't necessary to ask him question No. 5. You already know the answer.
