Dear Ann Landers, A fellow who works in this office took a girl to a church bazaar. He paid $1 each for their bingo cards. The jumbo jackpot was $200. The girl won. When they dumped the money in front of her she handed the fellow a dollar and said, Gee, thanks. This must be my lucky night. He was burned up. The office force has mixed feelings. Was the fellow entitled to all the money, half the money, or none of the money?-Reserving Judgment
Dear Judge,
The division of potential winnings should have been settled in advance. A good arrangement would have been a 50-50 split in the event either of them won. If that greedy girl cared for the fellow, she lost a great deal more than she won.
