I can't evaluate this questionnaire because each questionnaire should be evaluated on the basis of the individual scor-ing. Let me say it's darned interesting (though somewhat gamey), and I appreciate your sending it to me. I have always advised my readers to be tolerant of homosexuality. I will admit, however, that when I first began writing about homosexuality back in the early '60s, 1 followed the American Psychiatric Association's view that homo-sexuality was a deviant psychiatric disorder. Over the years, I have revised my opinion. I now believe homosexuals are bom, not made, and that something in their genetic makeup predetermines sexual orientation. The next step is for society to accord homosexuals the same respect and tol-erance as everyone else. Here are some of the letters I've received on the subject:
